Our last few days together.

Thank you so much for trusting me with your beautiful children. What amazing kiddos they are! I have enjoyed getting to know and loving each one of their unique personalities! Have an awesome summer and keep reading!!

Mad Science!

We had a fun filled day full of making hypothesis, experimenting, observing, recording, and analyzing! They started by observing and recording with a coke and mentos experiment then we created our own volcanoes to erupt. We also did some inquiring into dinosaurs!

Kindergarten Zoo

We are so proud of these kiddos. They have been inquires to complete their research, risk takers to stand up and teach about the animal they researched, knowledgeable to share the new facts they have learned, and thinkers while problem solving throughout making our habitats.

We have been busy researching our animals and their habitats. They are loving being researchers for the week.

We are also finishing up our end of year assessments. It is so exciting to see how much growth each of these kiddos have shown!

This week we inquired into the Desert habitat. Ask your child about how plants and animals can survive in a hot dry climate such as the desert.

Last week we inquired into the Rainforest so today we made Rainforest cookies! Most of the ingredients we used are are provided by various plants found in the Rainforest. They brought home cookies if your brave enough to try them. 🙂 The recipe was also sent home incase you want to make them yourself.

All of you Mothers, enjoy your weekend. You all deserve to be spoiled!

This week we spent time inquiring into the Rainforest habitat. It is fascinating how knowledgable your kiddos already are of so many animals! Ask you kiddo something new they learned. We also finished up our signs to remind everyone how we can make a difference and our responsibilities to help other living things.

In math we created shapes with marshmallows and toothpicks then added more to make them into 3D shapes. Ask you kiddo to identify 2D and 3D shapes found outside or inside your home.

We spent the week creating a habitat for caterpillars and worms. We provided all the things they need to survive. These kiddos are curious about roots so we went on a hunt for roots and brought some back to investigate.

Ask your kiddo about fun activities we did today during Daily 5.

No school tomorrow. Enjoy your long weekend and extra time with your kiddos! 🙂
